Cancel / Change Order Policy

At Techtabby, we understand that customers may occasionally need to cancel or modify an order after it has been placed. This policy explains when an order may be canceled or changed, the procedures involved, and any limitations that may apply.

Because orders are processed quickly to ensure timely delivery, cancellation or modification requests must be submitted as soon as possible after an order is placed.

2. Cancellation Requests

Customers may request cancellation of an order before it enters the fulfillment process.

Since orders are prepared promptly after purchase, submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled.

Each request is reviewed individually based on the current fulfillment status.

3. Order Changes

Customers may request modifications including, but not limited to:

  • Shipping address corrections
  • Recipient name corrections
  • Contact information updates
  • Size changes (when available)
  • Quantity adjustments (when available)

Requests are subject to product availability and the order’s fulfillment status.

4. When Changes or Cancellations Can Be Accepted

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests when the order has not yet entered fulfillment, including situations where:

  • Payment has been successfully received.
  • Inventory has been reserved but packing has not started.
  • Shipping labels have not yet been created.
  • The package has not been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Approval cannot be guaranteed.

5. When Orders Cannot Be Changed or Canceled

Once any of the following has occurred, cancellation or modification may no longer be possible:

  • Order processing has begun.
  • Packaging has been completed.
  • Shipping label has been generated.
  • The package has been collected by the carrier.
  • The shipment is already in transit.
  • The order has been delivered.

If your order cannot be canceled, it may still qualify for return under our Return & Refund Policy, provided all eligibility requirements are met.

6. How to Request a Cancellation or Change

To request an order cancellation or modification, please contact Customer Support as soon as possible.

Include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Email address used for the purchase
  • Description of the requested change or cancellation
  • Any corrected information, if applicable

Providing complete and accurate information helps us process your request more efficiently.

7. Review Process

Once your request is received, our Customer Support team will:

  • Verify your order.
  • Review the fulfillment status.
  • Determine whether cancellation or modification is still possible.
  • Notify you of the outcome by email.

We aim to respond as quickly as reasonably possible during normal business hours.

8. Approved Cancellations

If your cancellation request is approved before fulfillment begins:

  • The order will be canceled.
  • No shipment will be made.
  • Any authorized payment will be refunded to the original payment method.

Refunds are generally processed within 7 business days after cancellation approval.

Depending on your financial institution, additional processing time may be required before the refund appears on your account.

9. Changes After Shipment

Once an order has been shipped, we generally cannot:

  • Change the delivery address.
  • Modify product selections.
  • Adjust quantities.
  • Cancel the shipment.

If delivery has already been completed, any eligible return must follow the procedures described in our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Incorrect Information Provided by the Customer

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order information before completing checkout.

If incorrect information is submitted, such as:

  • An incorrect shipping address
  • An incomplete address
  • Incorrect recipient information
  • Incorrect product selection
  • Incorrect size selection

While we will make reasonable efforts to assist, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made after fulfillment has begun.

11. Orders Flagged for Verification

To help protect customers and prevent unauthorized transactions, certain orders may require additional verification before processing.

If verification is required:

  • Processing may be temporarily delayed.
  • Customer Support may contact you for additional information.

Orders that cannot be verified may be canceled, and any authorized payment will be refunded.

12. Duplicate Orders

If you accidentally submit the same order more than once, please contact us immediately.

Our team will review the orders and, when possible, cancel duplicate orders before fulfillment begins.

13. Promotional Discounts

If an order is canceled:

  • Promotional discounts associated with that order may no longer be available.
  • Future purchases may not qualify for the same promotional pricing if the promotion has ended.

14. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse cancellation requests or decline order modifications when necessary to:

15. Examples

Example 1

A customer places an order at 10:00 AM and contacts Customer Support at 10:15 AM requesting cancellation.

If fulfillment has not yet started, the order may be canceled and a full refund processed.

Example 2

A customer requests a shipping address correction after placing an order.

If the order has not entered fulfillment, the address may be updated.

If the shipment has already been dispatched, the address generally cannot be changed.

Example 3

A customer requests cancellation after receiving a shipping confirmation email.

Because the package has already entered shipment, cancellation is generally unavailable.

The customer may instead request a return after delivery if the purchase meets the eligibility requirements outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
